Mini Golf Takes Over Downtown Billings for a Day of Family-Friendly Fun

If you're looking for a good excuse to get outside and have a blast with your crew, the 5th Annual Downtown Billings Mini Golf Tournament might just be the hole-in-one you need. It’s happening in the heart of Billings, and it's shaping up to be a fun way to spend part of your Saturday. 

Set for June 14, this isn't your typical mini golf setup. Picture this: downtown businesses transformed into mini golf holes, with 18 unique stops along the route. You and your team —  a max of six golfers — will get assigned one of two 18-hole courses spread out across downtown.

Tee times are at 10:30 AM (check-in at 10:00) or 12:30 PM (check-in at noon), and registration is just $42 per team. That breaks down to as little as $7 per golfer. Not bad for a morning or afternoon full of laughs, light competition, and good ol’ downtown exploration. 

Good times in Downtown Billings

Don’t forget to bring your own putter (they’ll have a few loaners, but supply is limited) and wear comfy walking shoes — you'll be getting your steps in across multiple blocks. A water bottle filled with your favorite beverage, sunscreen, and maybe even a scooter wouldn’t hurt either. 

Once you've conquered your course, drop off your scorecard at Hooligan’s Sports Bar to enter prize drawings and giveaways. Participants can vote for their favorite hole. The business with the most votes will score a $150 prize from the Downtown Billings Association. 

Weekend bonus: on-street parking is FREE, and most of the stops on the Downtown Mini Golf Tournament have ample parking nearby. Grab your putter and hit the mini-links, Downtown style.
