The Healthiest Meal is the world now involves chocolate and cheese. Yes, you read that right. Chocolate and cheese! What a time to be alive when these are now part of the healthy food family.

Do you want to REALLY eat healthy? Well, here is how you can do it!  A nutritionist in England came up with what she claims is the "healthiest meal in the world." It's not your average meal but it does include CHEESE and CHOCOLATE. She has come up with a three-course meal. It starts with a starter aka an appetizer, the main course, and of course dessert.  The whole thing is only about 1,200 calories, so it's a pretty good amount of food with lower end calories. But you won't find it on a menu anywhere, so the kicker is you need to make it at home.

Here's what she claims is the healthiest meal in the world . . .

The Starter:  Labneh cheese with roasted tomatoes and broccoli.  Labneh is a fermented cheese popular in the Middle East.  It's got healthy bacteria that's good for your gut but sounds horrible to actually ingest it.

Main Course:  Citrus mackerel salad with chickpeas, fennel, and red onions.  Mackerel is one of the healthiest types of fish, because it's loaded with omega-3's.  She says to top it with black olives, sauerkraut, and pumpkin seeds.

For Dessert:  Tofu chocolate mousse with blueberries.  The recipe calls for DARK chocolate, not the good old milk chocolate.  The blueberries are loaded with antioxidants and are basically a super food.

When I think healthy food cheese does cross my mind because of the fact that it is dairy, and dairy is good for your bones. Now chocolate on the other hand we know dark chocolate has its benefits for a healthy heart. It also is a feel-good food. Down in dumps? Eat some chocolate. Stressed out? Eat some chocolate. Celebrating a holiday or just a thing called Tuesday. Eat some chocolate. It is good for you!
