Tax Day Is Tomorrow and a Ton of Us Are Still Working on Them!

Tax Day is tomorrow for most Americans.  A poll that was done on Friday found out that at least one in four people were still working on getting those taxes done. That includes the small number who said they hadn't even started yet.

Did you get your taxes done this weekend last minute like me?  If so, don't feel bad a ton of Americans were still working on them.

A poll from (YouGov) taken on Friday found two-thirds of Americans had already filed, or don't need to this year.  Everyone else still had their calculator out riding that struggle bus of getting them not only done but accepted as well.

16% were still working on them . . . another 9% hadn't started yet . . . and 9% more said they weren't sure if their taxes were done yet. Those people might be the ones who have their spouse or mom do them for them.

The poll found that people in their 20s were the most likely to say they hadn't done them yet. If this is the case, you are going to want to file for that extension ASAP. Around half of people said they find tax season STRESSFUL while half DIDN'T think it's that bad.  But one thing everyone agrees on is they don't want to have to pay more.

While only 3% of Americans think they pay less than their fair share in taxes.  30% said more than their fair share.

I was one of those that had to pay in. It was only a few bucks, but still. Super let down. After many many attempts to even get the taxes to stick I tossed in the white flag and just accepted it is what it is. Happy Tax Season!
